Watch Your Mouth

Often, we say things we regret. Here a just a few examples.

  •  Yesterday I was talking to Mr. Bates and he asked me how old my mom was, I responded 65 because I was talking about 1965, but for the entire conversation he thought my mom was older than him, and he was so disturbed. When I finally clarified it, he just stopped talking to me.
  •  I’m involved with the Indiana Democrats and the Carmel Democrats association. After Donald Trump was made the President-elect on November 8, I said I would move to Canada. I wasn’t serious, but I sure felt like it though. Everybody was similarly reacting, people weren’t very happy.

  • I called this person an untouchable, I meant it like they were really cool, but it came out as if they were an untouchable, because that person’s Indian too. It just turned out bad, I regretted it and I got a lot of angry texts.
